Panama will be the site of the next version of the Latin American Ports Congress which organizes the American Association of Port Authorities to be held in 2008.  The AAPA represents the public ports in the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean with the objective of promoting the interests of the port community and foment the leadership in the areas of trace, transportation, environment and other issues related to the port developmetn and its operations.
