 Found in the Chiriquí province you can find the renowned Finca Drácula of orchids. It is located in the Cerro Punto some 2000 meters above sea level in the area of Guadalupe. To reach the Finca Drácula you must first be in Cerro Punta and then climb, find the Guadalupe neighbourhood higher up and continue climbing.
Finca Drácula is an orchid nursery surrounded by lettuce, tomato, onion and potato plantations as well as strawberry and coffee cultivation. Cerro Punta is a town whose inhabitants live on land and climate. The indigenous population live mainly by their handmade materials.
The orchid nursery is found in a private farm where its owner and main collections has some 2 200 different types of orchids recognized as one of the largest collection of orchids in America. The farm owes its name from one of the rarest and delicate orchid species cultivated in the area.
